2025: a year focused on consolidation, innovation, and proximity
The past year unfolded in a particularly dynamic context, both economically and technologically. E-commerce and digital businesses were no exception: rapidly evolving user behaviors, successive emerging trends, the growing impact of artificial intelligence, and an uncertain geopolitical environment that directly influences business strategies.
The sector was also shaped by major structural changes, notably the acquisition of PrestaShop by the Polish group cyber_Folks, in partnership with Sylius. This marked an important turning point for the European open-source e-commerce ecosystem. This move is part of a broader market transformation, driven by the acceleration of AI, the evolution of technical infrastructures, and increasing pressure from SaaS platforms across Europe.
In this demanding environment, Store Commander chose adaptation. The year 2025 was dedicated to adjustment, reorganization, and increasingly agile operations, with the goal of continuing to meet the concrete needs of e-merchants, whether on PrestaShop or Shopify.
Improving what already exists, anticipating change, and staying close to real-world use cases: this mindset guided Store Commander throughout 2025, laying solid foundations for what comes next.
A stronger on-the-ground presence.
In 2025, Store Commander strengthened its field presence to stay closely connected to the realities of e-commerce. The teams took part in nearly 25 events across France, Spain, and Belgium, as exhibitors, sponsors, or attendees.
Key events included the PrestaShop Tours, Unidos in Barcelona (by Profileo), FOP Days, and the ShopiShopa Show. These moments are essential for engaging directly with merchants, agencies, and partners, and for feeding product thinking.
On site, attendees regularly met Vincent (CEO), Eric (Associate Director), Sonia, Head of Customer Success, the support team (Sébastien and Jenny), as well as the marketing team, represented by Laura and Claire.
These interactions help put faces to names, encourage open discussions, and directly inform our product decisions.

Technical events to keep moving forward:
Some events are dedicated to technical knowledge sharing and monitoring best practices. They allow our teams to stay up to date with technological evolutions and new e-commerce use cases.
Our developers — Patrick, Arnaud, Quentin, and Pascal — attended events such as Forum PHP, AFUP Day, and the PrestaShop Developer Conference.
These milestones are essential to continue evolving Store Commander on solid technical foundations, while progressively integrating artificial intelligence into our product thinking, tools, and processes.
AI is now a core topic within our teams, approached pragmatically: identifying genuinely useful use cases for merchants and integrating them coherently into Store Commander solutions.
Adapting and evolving our solutions:
To support these changes, Store Commander adopted a more agile organization, designed to evolve products in a progressive and consistent way. This approach is built on field feedback, ongoing discussions within the ecosystem, and an adapted internal structure.
In this context, Océane joined the team in January as Product Owner, helping drive product evolution and streamline development workflows.
Support as a core pillar of Store Commander:
From the very beginning, support has been one of Store Commander’s foundations.
The goal remains unchanged: helping e-merchants fully adopt the tool so it fits their daily operations, sector-specific constraints, and business challenges. Our support focuses on practical, everyday usage.
To sustain this approach, the Customer Success team plays a central role. In January, Jenny joined the team to reinforce Customer Success, supporting project growth while maintaining a high level of service quality.
In 2025, this commitment resulted in:
- more than 250 demos and support sessions delivered.
- a 98% customer satisfaction rate, based on direct user feedback following interactions via our integrated chat.
Structuring data to better manage the store:
Store Commander has always focused on data structuring and efficient e-commerce store management. In 2025, this foundation guided new product decisions.
Technology partnerships were launched with Upsellr, Motive, and Zentria, offering useful and consistent integrations around data and business use cases.
The objective remains simple: enable e-merchants to rely on connected tools, built on clean, consolidated data and a well-structured store, to manage their activity more effectively on a daily basis with Store Commander.
A new customer space to improve support:
In 2025, Store Commander launched a new customer space, open to everyone. It allows users to discover our solutions, identify the product best suited to their business, follow ongoing developments, and share feedback.
This space strengthens the connection between teams and users and fits into a continuous improvement approach.
Products in continuous evolution:
At the end of 2025, Store Commander for Shopify was fully redesigned and released in early access, free of charge, until the end of January 2026. This phase allows merchants to explore the new experience and actively contribute to its improvement.
Store Commander for PrestaShop remains fully available and continued to evolve throughout the year, with ongoing optimizations.
Teams are also working on Sc PrestaShop 9, scheduled for release in the coming months. Updates and progress are shared gradually via the customer space.
