Store Commander is evolving its knowledge base to deliver a brand-new documentation experience, designed to support users of Store Commander for PrestaShop and Store Commander for Shopify in their day-to-day use of the solution.
Clearer, more structured, more intuitive.
This new knowledge base marks an important step forward in our commitment to fostering autonomy and efficiency.
Objective: support and empower users
This new knowledge base was designed with a clear ambition:
- To support and empower users, regardless of their profile or level of expertise
- To offer a practical, use-case-driven approach rather than a theoretical one
- To provide a hands-on tone that can be directly applied in everyday work
Available in French, English, and Spanish, it is aimed at all Store Commander users, whether they work with PrestaShop 1.6 → 8.x (and soon PrestaShop 9) or Shopify.
To ensure perfectly tailored information for each environment, the documentation is organized into two separate knowledge bases.
Each CMS has its own dedicated content, aligned with its features, interface, and specificities.

A major evolution compared to the previous knowledge base
We didn’t start from scratch. Store Commander builds on over 17 years of expertise and existing content. We kept the best and reworked everything to make it more consistent, better structured, and more efficient.
What’s new:
- Articles organized and structured using precise keywords
- A fully redesigned classification based on coherent themes
- Merging several older articles into single, comprehensive and condensed content pieces by topic, allowing deeper exploration when needed
- A new navigation logic based on collections and sub-collections, with a clear guiding structure
Result: smooth, progressive, and logical reading.
A modern and intuitive user experience
The interface has been completely redesigned to improve usability.
New visual organization:
- A left sidebar displaying collections, sub-collections, and articles
- A clear homepage showing collections and the number of articles
- A visible internal structure within each article, making it easy to navigate between sections
- A changelog to track updates and feature evolutions
Result: simpler, clearer, and more enjoyable navigation.
Rich, practical, and interactive content
The new knowledge base mainly offers structured articles with a clear methodology and detailed explanations of features and their use cases.
But the experience goes even further:
- Screenshots and explanatory visuals
- Demo videos
- Integrated interactive tutorials (clickable mini-guides)
- Links to Store Commander webinars for deeper learning
The goal is simple: enable quick, practical understanding that can be applied immediately.
A continuously evolving knowledge base
This new documentation is a living resource. It will be continuously enriched as new Store Commander products and features emerge, ensuring ongoing support for the evolution of Store Commander for PrestaShop and Store Commander for Shopify.
